About Danielle

Preserving the Magic of Early Childhood

Hi, I’m Danielle.

I’m an educator, learning strategist, writer, and advocate with more than a decade of experience supporting the adults who shape children’s lives.

Throughout my career, I’ve partnered with educators, program leaders, and organizations to develop training programs, build professional learning systems, support workforce development, and create environments where both children and educators can thrive. I’ve designed onboarding programs, leadership development initiatives, compliance training, curriculum resources, and professional development experiences for hundreds of early childhood professionals across multiple states.

But if you ask me what truly drives this work, the answer is simple:

I believe childhood is worth protecting.

In a world that often pushes children to grow up too quickly, I believe they deserve wonder, curiosity, play, connection, and joy. I believe relationships matter more than rigid checklists. I believe children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and valued. And I believe the adults caring for them deserve support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow.

Those beliefs have shaped every classroom I’ve supported, every training I’ve facilitated, every educator I’ve coached, and every resource I’ve created.

Early Childhood Warriors was born from a desire to bring together people who share those values. Educators. Leaders. Families. Advocates. People who understand that early childhood is not simply preparation for life—it is life.

Through my writing, speaking, training, and advocacy work, I hope to amplify the voices of those doing this important work every day while helping preserve the magic that makes childhood so extraordinary.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me writing, spending time with my two daughters, enjoying life on our little Wisconsin homestead with our dogs and chickens, or finding inspiration in the everyday moments that remind me why this work matters.

Because at the end of the day, my mission isn’t just to support educators.

It’s to help create a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

What I Bring to This Work

Over the past 15+ years, I’ve served as a teacher, education coordinator, school director, corporate trainer, workforce development leader, and university instructor. I’ve supported hundreds of educators and leaders through professional development, onboarding, compliance, leadership growth, and organizational change.

Through every role, one belief has remained constant:

When we support the adults, children thrive.

My Credentials

Over the past 15+ years, I have served the early childhood education field as a teacher, education coordinator, school director, corporate trainer, workforce development leader, and university instructor. My work has spanned classrooms, Head Start programs, private schools, higher education, and multi-site organizations, giving me a unique perspective on the challenges facing children, families, educators, and leaders today.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with emphases in Early Childhood Education and Inclusion from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville, a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ESL from the University of Phoenix, a certificate in Infant Toddler Studies from the Erikson Institute, and a Program Development Credential from UW–Platteville. I am also a Certified Scrum Master.

Professionally, I have led schools, supported accreditation efforts, developed and facilitated professional learning for educators and leaders, written grants, built onboarding and workforce development systems, and taught future administrators and leaders through the UW–Platteville Administrator and Leadership Credential programs. I have supported hundreds of educators throughout my career, always with the belief that when we invest in the adults who care for children, everyone benefits.

While I value the credentials I’ve earned, I believe my greatest qualification is the experience gained through years of partnering with educators, supporting families, and advocating for children. The work of preserving childhood, building strong relationships, and creating thriving learning communities remains at the heart of everything I do.
